New life goal: At some point I want to try and seduce someone by pouring a bottle of champagne all over my ta-tas. The inspiring ladies and gents of burlesque just do it so well.

Last week Toronto burlesque fans were treated to back-to-back-to-back special performances aboard Epic Cruises stunning first annual “Burlesque On A Boat” party on The River Gambler. Unlike corporate functions, club nights or even the yoga classes that commonly take place aboard the vessel, this event saw an unusual amount of sparkly nipple tassels and glitter where the sun don’t shine. Shield your eyes, captain! Burlesque On A Boat was a “last chance to boogie-down” afterparty for the Toronto Burlesque Festival.

Once we were all aboard, there was hardly a dull moment. The crowd was delighted as furlicious host Canadian Wolfman brought out the local seductresses:

Sassy Ray, Tanya Cheex, Patricia The Stripper, Dew Lily, Fionna Flauntit, Event organizer Ava Noir & Miss dd Starr, Sauci Calla Horra, and the headlining act and The Queen of Burlesque 2010, Roxi DLite, as well as illusions by Mysterion The Mind Reader.

Not only were balloons popped and feathers flapped like wings across almost-bare female bods, there was even a sultry performance by Dew Lily, member of Toronto’s very own male burlesque troupe Boylesque TO. I am sure all the bachlorette and birthday parties aboard were OK with this.
