The weather was gorgeous, the feeling of Spring was in the air! Yes, it was the perfect evening to celebrate Gap’s BE BRIGHT collection and attend a special advance screening of the season’s most hilarious feel-good flick: Friends with Kids.

Apparently everyone is really into BEING BRIGHT because SIX HUNDRED of you piled into the Gap on Bloor Street to try on denim in every happy hue while snacking on neon frosted cupcakes. In between trips to the change room, we sipped on Naked Grape wine, refreshed with Evian, munched tasty PopChips and played dress-up with Gap’s vibrant Spring fashion. It really does add a little skip in our step.

Dan the DJ played some tunes, Shedoesthecity’s Becca Lemire snapped some shots and we all chirped about catching Kristen Wiig and Jon Hamm on the big screen together, again. Hmmm, it was hard to figure out what we were more excited about: Fuschia pink skinnies? Or Friends with Kids? Winning combo!

Umm, we may have had a little too much fun lining up with our coloured denim, coordinating dance moves and zesty kicks in the Gap front windows. We really do like wearing colour pants, together.

Friends with Kids opens in theatres everywhere this weekend. Check out the trailer here. Grab a bunch of your girlfriends – WEAR MATCHING COLOURED PANTS – and laugh your head off. Following, hit a local establishment and share juicy sex stories and dating disasters over many glasses of wine. YES! This is a very good plan.

And….BE BRIGHT! After all, isn’t that the best way to be?
