6pm From Under the Shadow: New Romanian Cinema 2006-2010 @ J. A. de Sève Cinema, 1400 Boulevard de Maisonneuve O. Concordia’s Fine Arts Student Alliance, in collaboration with the Cinema Students Association, the Concordia Student Union, and the Arts & Science Federation of Associates, presents “From Under the Shadow,” a series of films screened over the next three Saturdays that highlight recent developments in Romanian cinema. This Saturday, they’ll present the Quebec premiere of The Autobiography of Nicolae Ceausescu, which explores the story of Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. On Saturday December 3rd they’ll screen the Canadian premiere of The Way I Spent the End of the World (4pm) and 4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days (7:30pm. Saturday Dec 10th offerings include Tuesday, After Christmas(4pm) and Police, Adjective (7:30pm). All films are free.

Hey Rosetta!, a six-piece Canadian indie rock band from St. John’s, plays Theatre Corona as part of their “Yer Fall” tour in support of their recent album “Seeds,” released earlier this year.
