Nail polish is a truly glorious accessory. No doubt, I was that girl in your tenth-grade English class with royal blue, pink polka-dotted finger nails – until I graduated, and my creative spirit was silenced as I entered the real world, where appropriate (and nap-inducing) nail polish colour schemes only seem to include basic shades of pink and red. Snore.
As such, Deborah Lippmann’s collection of shimmery shades and glittery glosses has me all up in a nail-tizzy. Lippmann’s nail polishes unite glamour and vivacity in each bottle, in a way I plainly thought was disallowed past the age of seventeen.
Each shade is named after a well-known song, including Bad Romance (black polish with fuchsia sparkle – so hot!), Wicked Game (an iridescent grey), Boom Boom Pow (transparent, with 24-carat gold flakes) and my personal favourite, Happy Birthday (a rainbow mélange of glitter).
Polishes hover between the $16 and $20 mark. While certain products are only available at three locations in Montreal (see below), the full line can be purchased online. Check out the full collection!
