High on the list of famous ladies we love is Patsy Cline. Her signature contralto singing voice, those cutesy western ensembles, that sexy red pout… it’s no wonder she ranks as one of the most influential female singers of all time.
Miss Cline would’ve turned 78 yesterday and to celebrate, Lula Lounge (1585 Dundas St. W.) is hosting a Patsy Cline Birthday Show Spectacular TONIGHT! Putting to shame all those heartfelt karaoke sessions wherein we’ve belted out “I Fall to Pieces,” performers will take to the stage tonight to do their favourite Patsy Cline songs, backed by an all star band.
Early show starts at 8:30 p.m. (doors at 7:30) and the cost is $15 at the door, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Artscan Circle, an organization linking arts with indigenous youth at risk.
