Drunk Feminist Films- 10 Things I Hate About You and She’s All That
If you have ever fallen asleep through your highschool English classes on Romeo and Juliet, this film will make you regret those decisions! 10 Things I Hate About You is a “Shakespearean-esque” love story chock full of 1999 fashion, paintball, and letters to Cleo. This film is part of a two-night double feature with She’s All That! This interactive event uses fun-fuelled commentary to tease apart the tropes of mainstream movies and media. More info.

Open Circle Poetry Hangout
Embrace your inner poet with this creative hangout that engages in art discussions, writing exercises, experimental activities and collective sharing. With a focus on poetry, Open Circle gathers folks to engage in the art of writing, featuring artists of all creative disciplines and expressions. One of the few in Toronto, this poetry hangout invites all for an intimate night of practice and space to gain feedback and insight. Being Scene
Being Scene is a juried exhibition of recent artworks by Workman Art members and individuals highlighting those who have accessed CAMH services in Toronto. There will be two locations for the show, one at the Remote Gallery opening Saturday, March 30, and Workman Arts’ offsite location at Artscape Youngplace, opening Friday, April 5. These springtime exhibitions will display over thirty juried artworks selected by curators and artists. The aim of the show is to brighten the city with this diverse and inclusive space! More info.
