Celebrate Black stories with the Toronto Black Film Festival, which kicks off today and runs until Feb 21st. With 154 films, hailing from 25 countries, including 27 world premieres—this year’s offering is truly spectacular, and the All-Access Pass ($69) allows you to see and experience it all! 

Beyond a record number of films, this year’s Festival is going online, expanding audience capabilities and inviting film lovers from all over the world to join. 

“We feel privileged to be able to amplify the voices of more Black Filmmakers at such an important time in our history. We are enormously proud of this historic 2021 Online edition which highlights the tales and events that have challenged conventions, left a distinctive mark on our times, and changed how we see the world.” Said Fabienne Colas, President and Founder of the TBFF.“Our focus at the Toronto Black Film Festival is to go beyond awareness with concrete actions to foster the inclusion of diversity off and on camera.”

Beyond the films, #TBFF21 is hosting a diverse mix of panel discussions and masterclasses, geared at both general audiences, and industry professionals. “Show Me The Money: How to get Funding for Canadian Artists and Art Organizations”, “This Seat is Taken: The Absence of Black Leadership Roles in the Performing Arts Institutions”,  and “What has Changed Since the BLM Movement” are just some of the special events being offered. 

For Family Day (Feb 15th) the Toronto Black Film Festival has a full day of enriching programming scheduled that includes  storytelling, arts & crafts, dance and more! Everything is free and workshops are designed for kids ages 4-12.

The #TBFF21 All Access Pass is available for only $69 and gives access to all films (Feature Films accessible in Canada only / Short Films Series accessible worldwide).
