We were so curious to see the results from Google Canada’s 19th annual Year in Search–turns out our predictions were pretty spot-on.
The list reveals the moments and people that have shaped and defined our interest in news, pop culture, entertainment, sports and more in 2019. This year, Google analyzed trillions of searches performed globally throughout the year.
By now we all know who Kawhi is, we’ve mourned the loss of Luke Perry, we’re trying to eat more plant-based foods, and we agonized over the GOT finale. We’ve searched for more comfort food than ever before (Banana Bread and Lasagna, anyone?) and renewed our love of Freddy Mercury. We’re anxious about climate change, but we are starting to wake up.
See you in the next decade.
