There’s a new downtown destination for DJ skate nights this winter!
Every Friday and Saturday night from 5-9 p.m., Union Station (65 Front St. W.) will welcome a rotating lineup of live DJs to spin at its outdoor ice skating rink as part of Union Beats on Ice. For those who don’t know how to skate or need a refresher, one-hour skating lessons are offered twice daily at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. for free by Skate Canada certified coaches.
This week’s soundtrack will be provided by DJ Lissa Monet on Friday and DJ James Redi on Saturday. There will also be a warming lounge on site, free gift wrapping, and musical performances inside Union Station’s historic West Wing.
Union Beats on Ice runs until January 4, 2020. Admission is free.
