You may have aged out of Trick-or-Treating, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a ghoulishly good time. On Halloween proper, head to the Revue Cinema (400 Roncesvalles) for a spooktacular showing of the superb 1983 gem: Halloween III: Season of the Witch!
Michael Myers is nowhere to be seen in this spooky follow-up that tells the tale of an insane toy-maker bent on killing every child wearing a Silver Shamrock mask on Halloween night, and the boozing doctor (horribly miscast but over-the-top Tom Atkins) trying to stop him. Creepy, moody, and featuring a killer score by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth, this one needs to be seen on the big screen.
Film screens at 9:30. Grab your tickets here.
