Ever partied in a room full of paper? You’ll get the chance to this Saturday, January 12, when Paper Art Party transforms the Delisle Space (1 Delisle Ave.) at Yonge and St. Claire into a blue bin playground.

Hosted by Toronto-based nonprofit PULP, Paper Art Party is an annual fundraiser that examines the current life cycle of paper materials and explores alternative uses. This year’s event will feature a live performance by the T.Dot BANGERZ Brass Band, performance art, and DJs to complement a reclaimed materials installation. Guests can enter through an archway made of paper ropes, dance under cardboard tubes ripple effect, play with reclaimed-wood skyscrapers, or help create a giant comic book on used paper.

The evening starts off at 8 p.m. with a relaxed atmosphere for conversation, observation, and exploration of the installation. At 11:15 p.m., the lights will dim and DJs ÈBONY and Wasserman will take over.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online or at the door (advance tickets allow you to skip the line). Proceeds from Paper Art Party will support the Yonge Street Mission Evergreen Centre for Street-Involved Youth.
