Warm up this cold winter’s night with a majestic, hour-long Leonard Cohen sing-along!
Tonight, head to Northern District Library (40 Orchard View Blvd) and join an all-star cast of friends, colleagues and fans of Leonard Cohen as they tell stories about the artist’s unique life and contribution to music. Then sing along as some of his best-known songs are played live. Participants include NFB filmmaker Pierre Tetrault, singer/poet Honey Novick, pianist Neil Gardiner, and former Poet Laureate of Canada, George Elliott Clarke.
The event will begin with a screening of the ten-minute film Shooting the Breeze with Leonard Cohen, followed by the sing-along. This event is free, and no registration is required. Get more info here.
