Cabin fever got you down? Has watching agile Olympians made you feel more slug-like than usual? Well, get off the couch, head up to Mount Royal and partake in some strenuous activity for a good cause.

The 13th edition of the Tuques Bleues Celebration and Snowshoe Event will be held Thursday, February 18th, on Mount Royal. This benefit is the most important fundraiser for Les Amis de La Montaigne, an organization devoted to protecting and enhancing Mount Royal through environmental education and community involvement.

The event starts with nighttime snowshoe race through Mount Royal’s wintery mountain paths, lit up by tiny fairy lights.  After you heave yourself across the finish line, head over toChalet du Mont-Royal on the lookout for a celebratory cocktail party and buffet dinner.

The $200 registration fee includes a spot in the snowshoe race, the buffet dinner and access to the open bar (wine & beer only).

No on-site registration will offered, so be sure to register online before Wednesday Feb. 17th.

Sign in and snowshoe fitting starts at 5:45pm.
