Art Toronto, Canada’s international fair for modern and contemporary art, returns to Metro Toronto Convention Centre (255 Bremner Blvd.) this week with a diverse roster of galleries, solo exhibitors, and cultural institutions from seven countries and twenty-eight cities.
Kicking off this Friday, the 2018 edition of Art Toronto will feature works by Regine Schumann, a German minimalist artist known for her stunning light art; Tyler Los-Jones, who creates objects and images inspired by his home in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta; and Toronto’s Tessar Lo, whose mixed media paintings pull from contemporary, historic, and imaginative cultural and aesthetic influences.
Other highlights include the curated exhibit FOCUS: California, the PLATFORM Speaker Series, and the West-End Gallery Hop, during which seventeen of the top contemporary galleries in Toronto’s west end will open their doors for a night of refreshments and incredible art!
Art Toronto runs October 26 to 29. Single-day tickets are $22 and multi-day passes are $40.
