Not a speck of snow, protesters waiting in the wings, and torch that looks like one gargantuan joint – the stage is set for the 2010 Vancouver Olympic games to begin. You may be more excited for the final season of LOST to commence or still pondering Heidi Montag’s new face – but you may as well stay in the know… kind of. Let SDTC Vancouver be your unofficial and completely nonsensical Olympic guide.

SDTC will be reporting from the opening ceremonies, lightshows in China town, art parties in Gastown, a protest or two, and maybe even down a European tourist’s pants (hopefully!)

Our goal is to report the irregular, the wild, and the wicked that will take place during the games. What celebs will be seen? Will the parties be busts or bombs? Most importantly will we be cheering for the Jamaican bobsled team or simply sparking joints with them?

So stay tuned and put on your red mittens – ‘cause shizz is about to go down… hollllaaaa!
