Rusty Plum and Puces Pop (of POP Montreal) are joining forces to set up an indie market this weekend, full of arts and crafts and workshops for kids. Instead of tackling the dreadful Eaton’s Center this weekend, skip the hassle and go to Bazaar de Noel to pick up something unique and local for the loved ones on your list!
There will be unique clothing designs, jewelry, art, soaps and adorable one-of-a-kind toys for kids. Come discover and support local artists in artsy Mile End – with more than 60 independent artists and craftspeople in attendance, you’ll definitely find something that tickles your fancy. Be sure to check out the gorgeous jewelry by La Raffinerie, yummy Dot and Lil soaps, and cute cross stitch buttons, earrings and toys by The Pin Pals.
Bazaar de Noel will also be collecting donations, clothing, food and non-perishable food items for the organization Herstreet, a charity providing assistance to homeless women and women in difficulty. Please give generously!
And last but not least, there will also be delicious, delicious perogies to be had. The bazaar will be held at L’eglise St-Michel (105 St-Viateur W at St-Urbain) on Saturday from 11am-7pm, and Sunday from 11am-5pm.
