Finish up your holiday shopping and show your support to local women entrepreneurs this weekend at the Woman’s Made Holiday Market.
Organized by WIMA (Women in Music & Arts), this event encourages consumers to shop women-owned businesses while also drawing attention to the economic gap between male and female entrepreneurs. The market takes place December 23rd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Trinity-St Paul’s United Church (427 Bloor St. W.) and will feature more than 40 vendors selling handmade goods, art, crafts, clothing and jewellery plus special performances, dancing and holiday treats.
Admission is PWYC ($5 is suggested, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds). All ages are welcome and childcare will be provided on site.
