Ever wonder what happens behind the doors of downtown art hub, Walnut Studios? Wonder no more, because they’re giving you an insider peek on Saturday November 18th at their 10th Anniversary Open House!
Walnut was established 2007 by a small group of artists who were looking for a space to work together and build collectively. Now home to over 55 creatives, Walnut runs Blank Canvases, an “in school” arts education program that teaches children about local Toronto artists through art creation focused on imagination and creativity.
Additionally, Walnut holds classes in painting, drawing, portfolio preparation and much more. They’re committed to community cultural engagement via special events and open studio exhibitions for the public.
The party runs 7-11 p.m. at Walnut Studios (83 Walnut Ave.) DJ & cash bar. Entry is PWYC with donation.
