Breakthroughs is the only film festival in Canada devoted exclusively to showcasing short films by emerging female directors.

Now in its 6th year, they want to put YOUR talent on the big screen. If you are a female-identified filmmaker/director, enter your short film for a chance to be featured in Breakthroughs Film Festival 2017.

The final deadline for submissions is April 3, so don’t wait! Breakthroughs accepts films of any and all genres and must be twenty minutes or less in length, including credits.
