If you’re a writer who is feeling blocked, consider something completely different: equine therapy.
A new retreat, Writing With Horses, promises to help you stop living in your head and start living in your heart via communion with horses.
“Horses are prey animals — unlike dogs or cats, they aren’t predators or hunters,” notes Writing With Horses founder Jennifer Schramm. “That means they’re necessarily aware of everything that’s going on around them. Their lives depend on their intuition, so when you’re around them, it can be incredibly revealing. It’s in their nature to know if the beings around them are being honest.”
By stripping down your ego, you can get closer to your creative source and back on track with your writing. Writing With Horses takes place January 27-29 in Tottenham, ON. Register here (spaces are limited).
