Have you locked down your plans for this Thursday night? Cancel whatever you think you’re doing and hit up this super-fun (dance party) initiative from the HoHoTO team: The 9th Annual Holiday Fundraiser!

HoHoTO has been doing good work in Toronto since their inception. What started as a Twitter conversation between people wanting to make a difference has grown into an organization that has raised $350,000 (and collected around four tons of food) for hungry Torontonians. Now they are setting their sights on driving beneficial change in our technology ecosytem by getting more girls involved via their mentorship program.

Dance your butt off at the MOD Club (722 College St) to Dre Ngozi, Nino Brown, Marmalade & DJ Digital (Hip-hop, Twerk, Mashups, Rap, Dancehall, R’n’B & Top 40). All proceeds go towards HoHoTO’s ongoing partnership program with the YWCA Toronto Girls’ Centre, providing girls aged 13-18 the opportunity to partner with a female mentor, participate in office tours and learn about new career possibilities throughout 2017.
