Halloween is almost here, which means the return of Clay & Paper Theatre’s annual celebration of all things spooky.
Taking place this Saturday at Dufferin Grove Park (875 Dufferin St.), Night of Dread combines international folk and theatrical traditions from around the world to create an evening of parade and pageantry, music and masquerade, dance, and a devilishly good party. Masks and puppets to wear will be available from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Rink House, followed by an hour-long parade through Bloorcourt Village and ceremonial festivities inviting participants to call on, mock, and banish their fears.
Entry is PWYC ($10 suggested) and the dress code for the evening is black and white and dreadful.
