Celebrate the flavours, music, and cultures of the 41 countries that make up this Americas this weekend at the Pan American Food and Music Festival.
The two-day festival will take over Yonge-Dundas Square (1 Dundas St. E.) with food vendors, live demonstrations and performances, interactive activities, and more. In addition to showcasing 24 female chefs, PAFMF will also host a panel of food industry veterans and newer professionals discussing what it’s like to be a woman working in the industry.
Other highlights include a salsa and bachata workshop, arepa eating contest, and a light parade featuring dance groups Xtravaganza, Llasas de Bolivia, and Melodías de Bolivia.
PAFMF runs Saturday, August 25th, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, August 26th, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free.
