What should we be paying more attention to?
God, and being the best versions of ourselves.
What was the last Netflix series you binged on?
I recently fell in love with a series called Lie To Me. It’s about a doctor who studies whether a person is lying or not based on their facial expressions, body language or tone of their voice.
What is one new thing you learned this year?
It’s okay not to be what’s expected.
What memory brings a smile to your face?
Going on tour to Bahamas and performing at a children’s orphanage where I met the most amazing young people who really inspired me to work harder, and put 100 per cent into everything I do.
How do you recharge your batteries?
Sleep. I have a memory foam mattress and I love it.
Describe the funniest thing you’ve experienced in recent memory.
Recently one of my Uber drivers thought I was Jennifer Hudson. He started Snapchatting me as I walked to the car. When I tried to convince him I wasn’t, he kept asking me if I was sure(!).
Best advice you’ve been given?
As cliché as it sounds, the best advice I’ve ever been given is to believe in myself. When you really believe in yourself, the world is yours.
What is the best part of your current age?
The best part of about my current age is that I just turned 22 and I know what my purpose is and am following it.
How do you treat yourself in summer?
I love the beach! I’m there as much as possible.
What’s on your night table?
Headphones, a pen and a notebook.
If your house caught fire and (after you saved loved ones and pets) you could make one final dash to save any one item, what would it be?
I’d definitely save my laptop next, all of my fireeee is on that.
Weirdest thing in your purse right now?
Scissors.
What trends are you hating right now?
The injustice for black lives.
Who was your celebrity crush when you were a kid?
Chris Brown.
