I tried to pull a particular trend from the photos of Toronto Fashion Week day one, but here is what I scrawled in my notebook: studs, army jackets, toques, bright florals, green hair, pink hair, mixed tribal prints, leopard print, big fur, sheer pastel blouses, primary colours, shredded shirts…get the picture? Fuck the trends and dress how you want.
What I’m trying to say is that you don’t have to worry about what you’re wearing to Fashion Week; it’s a chance to play dress-up like you did when you were little! So wear whatever makes you feel good. That’s the only rule.
