RUTAS International Performing Arts Festival

Now in its sixth year, Aluna Theatre presents RUTAS, an international performing arts festival. Through digital art, live theatre, workshops and panel discussions, national and international artists explore themes of ‘dreaming a better world’. Presented in partnership with Theatre Passe Muraille and Factory Theatre, RUTAS has over 10 artistic offerings to choose from. More info.

Venus Fest

In the mood for live music? Venus Fest is back, continuing their commitment to highlighting and celebrating underrepresented artists from across the globe. Not only will there be performances from the likes of Claire Rousay, Ahya Simone and Isabella Lovestory, to name a few, but this year’s festival also features media and art installations, as well as a local artisan market. Need a break? Take a rest in their Restorative Zone, with curated activities for anyone in need of a small sensory break or pause from the excitement. More Info

Toronto Comedy Festival

Fall for Dance North

Hailed as Toronto’s premier international dance festival, Fall for Dance North offers over a week of dance performances across many of Toronto’s most iconic venues. 2024 is a year of milestones, as Fall for Dance North The festival will celebrate 10 years with four world premieres by Canadian artists, as well as the festival debut of England’s iconic Company Wayne McGregor, and performances by the National Ballet of Canada. Jane-Finch Community Arts Festival

With an aim to highlight women, femmes, non-binary artists, and entrepreneurs from the area, Flaunt It Movement & Corner Commons have come together to host the Jane-Finch Community Arts Festival. As if we needed another reason to celebrate our best friend, this new Toronto comedy festival is all about women, queerness and friendship.
