HOLIDAYS! CRAFTS! LEMONADE! The cornerstone of childhood winter memories that didn’t involve you being freezing cold is back. Whether you go for the free food samples, the Holiday cheer, or to buy handicrafts to pass of as your own on Christmas morning, The One of A Kind Craft Show is the Santa float of the holiday shopping parade: Big, shiny, and what everyone’s been waiting for.

Bring a giant tote bag and wads o’ cash, and for the price of admission, you could cross every person off your gift list in one night. With over 500 Canadian artisans, One of a Kind specializes in the perfect present for the impossible-to-please, and the range of gifts, from token stocking stuffers and delicious treats to larger, gorgeous pieces, mean that options abound. Plus, spending an evening talking to hunky bearded craftsmen from North-of-Nowhere, Ontario is guaranteed to put you in the holiday spirit (and probably land you with a giant chunky wooden sculpture you couldn’t afford.)

The fair has daily fashion shows, showcasing some of Canada’s newest designers, as well as cooking demos. Top Canadian chefs will be showing you how to make amazing meals with locally grown produce, perfect for anyone whose New Years Resolution is going to involve the 100-mile diet. (What’s that in kilometres again?) There will even be a special section, devoted to eco-friendly designers creating organic clothing and green products: One of a Kind Green.
