The dark rebel of Little Italy

The first time I went to Ted’s Collision was when I was invited to a surprise party by my friend’s older sister. “How quirky,” I thought, “Julia will never guess that she’s having a party at a garage.” Boy, was I disappointed when Ted’s ended up being just a bar. At least it was a good bar. Ted’s is the dark, sexy rebel of Little Italy. Unlike the hyper martini lounges clustered around it, it’s moody and a fan of rock and roll. A particularly attractive breed of men haunts here: unshaven, worn out t-shirt wearing guys who probably work in record stores or play for bands, or at least wish that they did. Its best to gaze at them from the romantically grungy back patio, an urban oasis of mismatched chairs and greenery.
