As July 1st looms, last-minute movers are advised to visit http://www.the-leak.org/ to discover which landlords are harbouring bedbugs, which ones install one-way mirrors in your shower, and which ones paint your entire apartment while you’re away for the weekend without telling you first. (This last one happened to me. Yes, the color was an improvement; yes, I was moving out in a month; but still, coming home to find your once-green walls painted white was bewildering, not to mention creepy.)
