My bébé sister has celiac disease, and for her, eating out is basically a non-starter. If anything she eats comes into contact with gluten, she’ll be sick for three days. But that’s why Gluten Free Garage is so great. It’s a farmer’s market where vendors cater to those with gluten intolerance or gluten allergies.
It’s a smorgasbord of gluten-free goodness. Over 50 vendors will be on hand, but the event is about more than food samples: There will be guest speakers and food trucks on hand. It’s about creating a community around healthy, delicious gluten-free living! A portion of the proceeds from the event go to the Canadian Celiac Association.
