Clinique vs. Dermalogica

Here is a question that I received from a reader:

“I’m always asking my friends, what their skin care routine and products are and in all of my asking/research i find there is a big debate of Clinique versus. Dermalogica. Aside from price differences i’m VERY curious which of the two you would recommend. Which of the lines actually works. Is one versus the other better? is it worth it to pay the money if you have normal to combination skin?”

Now, this is a really difficult question for me to answer, because the fact is that I use products from both lines on a daily basis.

The fist thing that comes to mind when I think of Garnier (as well as another very well known skin care company) is anti-aging creams. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be using a product from this company at such a young age, but I was wrong.

I have always encountered the problem of looking tired, all the time. People constantly tell me how tired I look, or ask if I had a late night. It had gotten to the point where I was getting, well, tired of people pointing out how I looked, usually on a daily basis.

There are a few things that only my most dedicated readers, and my best friends know about me, and one of those things is that I absolutely adore all things Lush. I’ve tried almost every product in the store and when I’m near it, even if there’s nothing new, I absolutely must go inside. I can recognize the strong scent of the store a block away or even if I’m in my car.

Yes, dearies, you did read the title of this right: I have been trying the No No! sold exclusively at Sephora and I'm here to tell you that it does work!... kinda.

So below, you see the unit as you will use it. It's quite small, fits into the palm of your hand, and you basically slide it over the part of your body that you want to rid of hair. Sounds simple? Well it is. The unit comes with a variety of "blades". There are some for short hair and some for long hair, and are to be used accordingly. You use the blades for long hair for longer hair and then follow up by using a blade for the short hair.

If you weren't a fan of Benefit's Benetint because the colour didn't work for you, you're now in luck. There's a new version of the popular stain out called Posie Tint which is a pretty pink colour that will probably look more natural on most people.

The formula is more of a gel than the regular Benetint, and I found it to be really easy to work with. It didn't dry too fast, and I actually found that I had better results when I took my time and worked with it. It's really a nice pink colour that's neutral and great on lips and cheeks!

You've already heard about Anastasia, I'm sure. She's the eyebrow specialist to the stars, and has done the eyebrows of everyone from J. Lo to Madonna.
