Clear your schedule, because Camp Wavelength is returning to Toronto in August! Camp Wavelength is everything you loved about camp as a kid…but for adults. Don’t miss out on this oasis of music, art, food and community. This year, they’re moving to a new, central, outdoor location–Fort York National Historic Site’s tree-lined green space, Garrison Common.
This year’s musical lineup includes Suuns, Tops, Zaki Ibrahim, Maylee Todd, Yamantaka // Sonic Titan, and TRP.P. No camp would be complete without a campfire; enjoy some stand-up at the Campfire Comedy session, featuring Aisha Brown, Chantel Marostica, Harpreet Sehmbi, Anasimone George, Jackie Pirico and many more! See the full schedule here.
In the spirit of summer camp, there are a ton of awesome activities to partake in all day long. Learn to make your own zines in Hoser Punx’s interactive zine tent, craft surreal subvertisements with Ad Hack, explore the infamous trash panda in GTAnimalia, wander through the Kaleidoscope Girls’ quirky imagination station, relax inside the sound-and-light-interactive pavilion Homunculus Nimbus, or step inside the Zoo Owl’s Doom Garden. Bunz will also be there if you feel like making some trades!
Camp Wavelength takes place August 18 and 19, 2018. Admission is open to all ages. The festival site will be licensed for alcohol service to those 19+. Please note that this year’s Camp Wavelength is a day camp only (main stage festivities conclude at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 p.m. on Sunday). Get tickets here.
